How to get your OneTouch® Ping®

How to get your OneTouch® Ping®

 

1. Get started by calling us

Animas Customer Care is your first step to getting your OneTouch® Ping®. You can call us at 1-866-424-6779, contact us online, or email us at CustomerCare@Animas.ca. We can answer any questions you might have. We can even arrange for you to meet with an Animas representative in your area in person or over the phone.

 

2. Visit your healthcare provider

You may have already talked at length with your physician or diabetes healthcare professional about insulin pump therapy. If not, schedule an appointment with your doctor, endocrinologist or diabetes nurse educator. This step is important as medical necessity may need to be demonstrated for insurance purposes.

 

3. Review your health insurance coverage

You may have insurance coverage for your pump and supplies through private insurance or a group health care plan. In certain provinces, government funding may be available for pumps and/or supplies.Our Reimbursement Specialists are experts in public and private insurance programs, and can help you determine your benefits and assist you throughout the authorization process. Just give us a call at 1-866-424-6779 and we'll get you started.

 

In order to assist you with your insurance paperwork, and depending on your health insurance benefits, we may need the following information:

  • An Insurance Information Form to begin the insurance verification process
  • A Letter of Medical Necessity to be completed by your physician or healthcare provider
  • An Authorization to Release Information Form

 

Should you need these forms to get coverage, we can email or mail these forms directly to you.

 

What's next?

 

Once we're done with the insurance verification process, we'll contact you to arrange a pump training date. We'll ship your OneTouch® Ping® by courier to your door.
