Animas Heroes

The "George Canyon & friends Diabetes Heroes Tour" was a highlight of 2011, reaching >1,100 people in three days in the cities of Halifax, Nova Scotia; Toronto, Ontario; and Calgary, Alberta. Each evening shared inspiration and entertainment for families and people living with Type 1 diabetes, featuring award-winning country music artist George Canyon, diabetes nurse and family therapist Joe Solowiejczyk, and three amazing young heroes sharing their insights and strategies for living powerfully with diabetes.
